Karli's on the move; she'll strike soon. Bucky and Sam have been in long, tense conversations with each other and with Torres, and she herself has been keeping an obsessive eye on the tracker blip that is Batroc.

It's a lot. The air in the apartment is tense. But she still has to laugh at the sight that greets her when she walks into the living room: Bucky crouched down, his phone out as he takes a photo of Alpine, who is lounging in lazy grandeur, soaking up a puddle of sunshine.

"That'll be a good one," she approves. "Baby, I've been wondering – what happened to your nice camera? You didn't leave it in Wakanda, did you?"

He groans as her hand closes around him, his fingers crooking inside her and his thumb circling against her. Bucky dips his head to kiss her mouth, deep and wanting, then smiles at her once more.

"You deserve so much better than me, baby, but I'll do my best for you."

"No such thing." She kisses him back, deep and drowning, and slowly strokes her hand over him, moaning softly as he curls his fingers, brushing them against that spot that makes her see white light.

"You already are the best. You're all I want."

Desire pools within him, building. His hips rock a little, chasing her touch, even as he makes himself give the rest of his attention to caressing that spot deep inside her, over and over, and lowers his head to kiss her again.

She kisses him back, deep and a little desperate, her breath coming short and fast as he stokes the fire building between them. Her free hand sinks into his hair, gripping it at the root as the fingers she has curled around him keep stroking along his skin at an agonizingly slow pace.

"Bucky," she whispers. "Bucky."

"Sharon," he murmurs back, before a low wanting sound escapes him as her fingers find purchase in his hair and around his length. He's so hard he's practically aching, but he's determined to draw this out for her as long as he possibly can.

He kisses her again, caressing her with both hands for a few moments before he slides his left arm under her back and lifts her closer.

He can hold her perfectly well on his own, she knows, so her hands are free to keep teasing him as he lifts her. At that groan, she can't help but quicken her stroke a little, her fingers tightening in his hair.

"Baby," she groans. "You're driving me crazy."

He laughs, quick and warm and more than a little breathless, and cradles her to him in the crook of his arm as his other hand moves faster and more certain against her.

"Good," he says, and kisses her again. "I need you, angel."

"You have me," she promises, and kisses him again. She's beginning to tremble all over from the way he's building her up.

"Every breath. Every part of me. All yours."

He kisses her again, passionately, and lowers her back to the bed as he shifts to settle between her thighs, nudging against her as he withdraws his fingers.

"Please – "

She reaches down to guide him, lifting her hips. "Baby, I need you, too – "

He slides both hands under her hips, lifting her up just a little, just enough that when he sinks deep into her he presses against sensitive nerves - and then he pulls back and does it again, and again, seeking their rhythm together.

She cries out softly as he presses deep inside her. Her hands go to his shoulders, fingers curling into skin and metal alike as he rocks in and pulls back, driving her wild with love and desire. He's moving so deliberately she thinks she'll lose her mind, but she bites her lip and holds on, drowning in sensation, determined not to crack yet.

He can feel his body tightening with need and want intertwined and makes a low, deep sound as he rolls his hips and presses deep again, and again. Bucky shifts to support her with his right hand only and brushes the backs of his metal fingers against her cheek, then over her chest, down along her body to press and circle against warm flesh as he rocks into her, with her, drowning in her.

Sharon turns her head to kiss his vibranium fingers, then lifts a shaking hand to his cheek, moaning at the combination of his metal fingers touching her, him pushing deeply into her. "Baby," she begs.

"Baby, baby, I can't take it – let go. Give me everything, please – "

He leans his head into her touch, something almost wild in his eyes at the sound of her moans and the way she feels around him. Her plea causes him to slip the leash on his control, and Bucky drives deep into her, over and over, moving faster and harder than before.

Coherence is a dream, like air – both of them things that happen to other people, people who he hasn't been systematically taking apart all this time. Sharon cries out again as pleasure suffuses her, as he gives himself up to feeling and instinct and need.

"Yes," she tells him, hardly knowing what she's saying. "Bucky, yes."

He shifts, automatically, unable to think or consider or plan, wanting only to be closer to her and deeper inside her until the two of them are inseparable.

She's everything, everything to him, and he loses himself in her as he tries to bring her with him over the edge into bliss.

She wraps herself around him, pulling him as close as she can, wanting to sink right through skin and muscle to bone. As the wave lifts inside her, she grips fingers into his back, into his hair, kissing him deep and desperate and breathless, tightening herself around him as she tries to bring him with her. "Baby – "

It's all she gets out before that wave crests and breaks. She muffles a cry into his shoulder as it storms through her, brilliant and shattering and perfect, and shakes in his arms.

She cries out and tightens around him, and white-fire pleasure rockets up his spine as his hips jerk and he thrusts forward, hard and deep and sure. He holds her to him, shuddering with the force of completion and ecstasy, kissing her hair and her neck and everywhere he can reach.

They cling to each other as the tremors rush through them, as the flood slows and becomes a lazy river, leaving her trembling in his arms, flushes and sweat-slicked and loose-muscled with exertion and release.

When everything clears enough, she turns her head and presses a kiss to the warm skin of his neck, then sighs, long and relieved.

He shivers a little at the kiss, then lifts his head and smiles at her.

"Not too heavy for you, am I?"

"No," she promises, and wraps her arms around him, just in case he's getting any funny ideas about moving away. Settling her head back in the pillow, she smiles up at him, relaxed, her face flushed.

"I love you so much."

He chuckles as she makes her point by holding on to him, and lowers his head to kiss her again at the sight of her smile.

"I love you too, baby. You changed my life."

"Oh yeah?"

She kisses him back, slow and sweet. "In a good way, I hope."

"In the best kind of way," he promises, and lifts his hand to brush her hair back from her face.
