"Wait here," he assures her, and kisses her back before he settles her into the hay once more. "I'll be right back."

Bucky rolls to his feet and goes to the door. He opens it a crack and looks around, just to check that they're still alone, then goes out to retrieve the picnic basket and bring it back. He locks the door again, then pours her a glass of water from a canteen he has stashed in the basket and brings it over to her.

"Here you go, baby."
